About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our operations team in the tipper transport industry. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for dispatching and monitoring tipper trucks daily, tracking trucks live, managing drivers and enforcing compliance, overseeing weighbridge slips, load accuracy & documentation, handling breakdowns, tyre issues, and workshop coordination, communicating with clients, mines, and loading points. Your mission as a Fleet Controller is to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and monitor tipper trucks daily
- Track trucks live (routes, speeds, no-go zones)
- Manage drivers and enforce compliance
- Oversee weighbridge slips, load accuracy & documentation
- Handle breakdowns, tyre issues, and workshop coordination
- Communicate with clients, mines, and loading points
- Submit daily trip and performance reports
Requirements
- Strong dispatching skills
- Excellent driver management abilities
- Ability to track trucks live using GPS or similar systems
- Experience in handling weighbridge slips, load accuracy & documentation
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
