Job Description
Cape Town – Western Cape – South Africa
- Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.
- Participate in the engineering release process, ensuring all industrial and process engineering functions are addressed.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility.
- Develop detailed production line process models detailing how and where subassemblies are installed on the production floor.
- Investigate and resolve issues found on the production line, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct time studies and production line optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to align engineering projects with business objectives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of process models, methodologies, and findings.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s / B Tech Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification(s).
- 3+ Years post-graduate in Industrial and Process Engineering, preferably in the Automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics.
- Experience with time studies and production line optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics.
- Computer literacy with Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficient in data analysis.

- Willing to travel overseas for variable periods.
- 3D Modeling software experience.
