About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, working with industrial machinery, and using PLC and HMI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems
  • Work with industrial machinery
  • Use PLC and HMI systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve problems

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as Electrical Technician in the Manufacturing Industry
  • Grade 12 Trade Tested: Electrician Light Current qualification
  • Strong Industrial Machinery | PLC and HMI experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
  • Contactable references and payslips required

Qualifications

  • Completed Grade 12 Trade Tested: Electrician Light Current qualification

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for conducting technical audits on properties, examining under recoveries from a technical perspective, and installing electrical metering equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical audits on properties
  • Examine under recoveries from a technical perspective
  • Make technical drawings of metering reticulation of examined properties
  • Install electrical metering equipment
  • Calculate / forecast recoveries
  • Manage stock
  • Perform general administrative tasks

Requirements

  • A qualified electrician with at least N4 qualification
  • At least 2 years metering related experience
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Drivers License
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Computer literate
  • Timekeeping and planning skills
  • Deadline and goal orientated

Qualifications

  • N4 qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Matric Certificate
