About the Role

We are delighted to be recruiting a Receptionist for a well-established boutique 4-star country property set in the heart of the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. This live-in position is ideal for a warm, guest-focused individual who understands that reception is more than a desk — it’s the heartbeat of the guest experience. You’ll be the first smile guests see and the last impression they leave with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the reception desk and daily front office operations
  • Welcoming, assisting, and guiding guests with confidence and charm
  • Handling reservations, guest enquiries, and general administration
  • Managing cash, floats, and basic guest billing
  • Answering calls and providing accurate information about the property

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 4★ or 5★ hotel or lodge environment
  • Naturally friendly, bubbly personality with a genuine love for people
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and telephonic)
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working shifts and in a fast-paced environment
