Requirements Qualified Millwright (NQF4) with a valid trade certificate issued by an accredited institution At least 5 years experience Full N3 certificate with Mathematics and Engineering Science being two of the subjects passed Ability to read and understand Electrical Circuit Diagrams Experience in pneumatics Experience in hydraulics Experience on VSDs and Soft Starters, preferably WEG Experience on Instrumentation field devices (proximity switches, rotary sensors, level indicators, control valves etc.) Valid Drivers license Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Willing to work overtime and perform standby duties when required Ability to function independently and as a member of a team Ability to identify and solve problems Willing to relocate to Villiers Duties and Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair, test and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems in the plant as well as work on electrical distribution and reticulation equipment Manufacture, fit and repair machine components and related equipment Reduce Breakdowns and ensure maximum equipment availability Fault finding on mechanical and electrical equipment Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment in the plant Skills Medium Voltage Systems Experience (Switching and phasing) Stick and Gas Welding skills Computer Literacy Wiremans License Other information The company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.
