About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and management, with experience in managing financial resources and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs). As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective allocation and management of company resources, preparing and presenting accurate financial reports, and providing decision support to senior management. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure cost-effective allocation and management of company resources, including identifying cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Prepare and present accurate financial and management reports, including month-end reporting, to senior management
- Act as the financial liaison between finance and operational teams, providing decision support to all operational divisions
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
- Support forecasting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning at departmental level
- Manage annual budgeting processes at the departmental level
- Partner with department heads to evaluate business cases and investment opportunities
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting, preferably CA (SA)
- At least 5 years in an accounting environment
- Management experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Sage proficiency (beneficial)
- BI Reporting knowledge
- IFRS knowledge
- Ability to present reports at Exco Level
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
Qualifications
- BCom in Accounting, preferably CA (SA)
