Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit files
- Support senior auditors in conducting audits and reviews
- Gain practical experience across various accounting and auditing assignments
- Prepare tax returns and assist with compliance work under supervision
- Develop understanding of accounting standards, IFRS, and auditing methodologies
- Participate in client engagements and liaise professionally with clients
Requirements
- Completed BCom (Accounting/Accounting Science) or equivalent degree
- Must meet requirements to register for SAICA Articles
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting software advantageous
