About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in East London, Cintsa. As a renowned establishment, we require a skilled professional to manage our HR systems, coordinate payroll, and handle employee-related matters. If you have a strong background in HR and are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify employee attendance registers against Uniclox system
  • Provide timecard reports for overtime taken for both monthly and fortnight employees
  • Check on any missed punches and absenteeism
  • Add new employees on the Uniclox clocking system and take finger prints for clocking
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll on Sage
  • Capture and load new employees on Sage
  • Maintain and update leave, medical aid reconciliation, and employee benefits on Sage
  • Coordinate leave administration and filing of all relevant documents.
  • Coordinate Medical aid and Pension fund benefits applications and withdrawals
  • Liaise with employee benefits service providers for all benefits-related issues
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Development and management of employment contracts
  • Management of office policies
  • Dealing with company grievances and policies, attend hearings and CCMA cases
  • Dealing with union members and the contribution deductions
  • General administration required by Executive Management

Requirements

  • 3 years previous experience within a similar role
  • Relevant HR related qualification

Qualifications

  • Completed relevant HR qualification

About the Role

Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in East London. As a key member of our HR function, you will support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, while maintaining accurate HR records and databases. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for HR, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Maintain and update HR records, personnel files, and HR databases.
  • Manage time and attendance processes (Uniclox experience preferred).
  • Assist with payroll inputs, leave administration, and monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, training schedules, and skills development initiatives.
  • Provide support on disciplinary processes, hearings, and HR compliance.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, induction programmes, and company culture initiatives.
  • Ensure HR practices align with labour legislation and company policies.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management (or related field).
  • Energetic, and proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Uniclox experience highly advantageous.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and South African labour legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
