About the Role

Persona Staff is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a key member of our internal sales team, you will be responsible for proactively contacting customers, promoting product lines, and supporting external sales visits. Your primary goal will be to grow the Diesel Pump Room customer base and assist in sourcing new products and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively contact customers, promote product lines, market specials, and support external sales visits
Grow the Diesel Pump Room customer base and assist in sourcing new products and suppliers
Prepare quotations, process invoices, manage COD accounts, and track backorders
Assist customers with diesel parts selection and provide accurate technical guidance
Maintain customer relationships through prompt communication on deliveries, logistics, claims, and supply issues
Handle returns, manage credits, and escalate account concerns when needed
Maintain accurate customer information, track lost sales, and assist with stock counts and trade events
Ensure a professional, organised workstation and uphold high service standards

Requirements

Matric (essential)
Strong technical knowledge of Diesel Fuel Injection systems
Trade Test / Diesel Fuel Injection Certification (advantageous)
Experience in internal sales or technical sales
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask, work accurately, and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and reliable attitude
