About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & TLA Manager to join our International NGO team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will report to the Finance & Operations Director and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Finance Department, as well as managing the activities of the TLA Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in managing large-scale programs to take on a key leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Management and development of Finance and TLA staff;
- Financial Management;
- Coordinating and managing month-end and year-end process;
- Payroll and benefits administration;
- Statutory compliance and maintaining external stakeholders’ relations, including donors;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Honors Degree in Financial management, Business Administration, Financial Accounting or other relevant field;
- 5 years of relevant financial working experience;
- 5 years accounting, operations and financial management of large-scale, complex programs;
- Experience in working with International NGO’s will be an added advantage;
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, interpersonal skills and team building experience;
- Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements;
- Demonstrated experience and skills in developing and managing large budgets;
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and databases;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint);
- A customer service oriented individual with ability to deal with all service providers;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Must be a South African national or SA permanent resident fluent in speaking English.
