About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer all contracts as per set standards, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Continuous update of the contract register on JDE and weekly progress report to the supervisor.
  • Draft contracts and amendments.
  • Administer, control, and update all contracts held with external providers and contractors as and when required.
  • Market research on prices to avoid being overcharged.
  • Price negotiations.
  • Contract approvals.
  • Contract filing and safeguarding.
  • Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding contracts.
  • Assist end users by guiding them through the administration of contracts.
  • Follow up with end users and act on expiring contracts.
  • Align Contract standards and policies with the Group to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate.
  • Higher Certificate in Commercial or Finance-related studies or equivalent.
  • Code 08 (B) Drivers Licence.
  • National Diploma: Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent.
  • Bachelor of Commerce: Supply chain/logistics or Equivalent.
  • CIPS Certificate Level 6.
  • Certificate: Contract Management / Commercial Law / Contract Law / LLB or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate.
  • Higher Certificate in Commercial or Finance-related studies or equivalent.
