About the Role
Merand Corbett & Associates is seeking an experienced Parts Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for identifying parts needs, sourcing and purchasing components, managing inventory, and controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing repair orders and job cards to identify specific parts required for each job.
- Analyzing work orders to understand the extent of vehicle damage and the parts needed for repair.
- Evaluating vehicles to assess damage and determine the parts required.
- Forecasting parts requirements based on repair schedules and historical data.
- Predicting future parts needs to ensure optimal stock levels.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to review orders and job cards accurately.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work with suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
