About the Role

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, are currently seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our client’s team in Bellville. The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain planning processes for our pharmaceutical products. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock outs
Lead a team of supply planners to ensure accurate demand forecasting and production scheduling
Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Develop relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure a reliable source of materials and products
Manage product life cycles and make recommendations for product discontinuation or introduction
Participate in strategic planning meetings to align supply chain operations with overall business objectives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
