About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team based in East London. The successful candidate will provide strategic HR support to management, ensuring the smooth operation of personnel administration, manpower planning, and recruitment practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and be able to facilitate disciplinary and grievance hearings, as well as performance evaluations and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Management with Personnel Administration
- Facilitate Manpower Planning and Recruitment Practices
- Conduct Disciplinary and Grievance Hearings
- Perform Performance Evaluations and Skills Analysis
- Plan and Facilitate Training
- Support Succession Planning
Requirements
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Proficiency in Sage People 300, Sage Job Profile, Sage Personnel Management, and Sage Employment Equity
- Minimum 5 years HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law (BCEA; EE; BBBEE; LRA and Skills Development)
- Recruitment and selection methods
- Performance management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (preferred)
