About the Role
Alpha Group, a leading call center-based company in Wynberg, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor recruitment and hiring processes, sourcing and attracting candidates for call center positions.
- Conduct interviews and assessments (communication skills, problem-solving, etc.) for new hires.
- Onboard new employees and ensure they understand company policies and expectations.
- Implement programs to boost employee motivation and reduce attrition.
- Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to improve work culture.
- Organize team-building activities and employee recognition programs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attendance, productivity, and quality scores.
- Provide coaching and performance improvement plans for underperforming agents.
- Address workplace grievances and disputes while enforcing disciplinary policies.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry regulations.
Requirements
- HR Diploma or Degree (Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field).
- Relevant HR Certifications (e.g. SABPP, CHRP, or equivalent).
- Minimum 35 years proven experience in an HR Management or Senior HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of South African Labour Law, BCEA, LRA, Employment Equity Act, and related legislation.
