About the Role
Kerry Kopp Consulting is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing payroll duties, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant labor legislation and skills development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee payroll duties, including accurate and timeous processing of payroll, normal and overtime pay for all employees
- Prepare and submit the Annual Employment Equity report to the Department of Employment and Labour
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits relating to BBB-EE, Employment Equity Act, and Skills Development Act
- Identify and correct occupational info, leave balance, and engagement/termination errors before final processing of payroll
- Ensure the Company’s adherence to the Skills Development Act, including constituting the Skills Development Committee (SDC)
Requirements
- Post-matric HR tertiary qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy including payroll systems and processes, preferably Buildsmart, Fusion, and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in IsiZulu both written and spoken will be an added advantage
