About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and solutions-driven Electronics Technician to join our technical team. Our client, an established leader in the industrial electronics sector with over three decades of experience, provides specialised electronic repair services and solutions across the Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair industrial electronic equipment, including VSDs, PC boards and control panels
- Conduct on-site diagnostics and resolve customer-reported technical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and adjustments
- Provide technical guidance and training to clients
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve faults
- Document service tasks, including parts used and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong Mathematics and Physical Science results at school level
- A Mechatronics Diploma highly advantageous
- Demonstrated strong interest in pure electronics, such as Digital Electronics Industrial Electronics Electronic fault-finding and repairs
- Minimum 6 months experience in industrial electronics
- Proven experience repairing VSDs and PC boards
- Solid technical knowledge of industrial electronic systems and control panels
Qualifications
- N4 or N5 in Electronics or Electrical, or a relevant qualification (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R10 000 – R35 000 per month (depending on experience)
Medical aid & pension contribution (after probation period)
