About the Role
Join our team as a Process Technician at Staff Solutions in Durban, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of product quality and implementing process improvements to optimize unit output.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the product voltage, PH conductivity, acid level, and temperature are correct according to specifications before use.
- Ensure that all chemicals transferred to the effluent plant are in line with the Environmental work instructions and procedures.
- Optimise line process parameters to improve units per input hour.
- Ensure that all tanks and pumps are maintained to eliminate any production downtime.
- Ensure that the chemicals’ specifications of the tanks are in line with the work instructions.
- Responsible for the make-up and additions of the chemicals to the various tanks are correct according to the specifications.
- Ensure that the Handover procedure is followed and detailed accordingly.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Critical)
- Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (adv.)
- Handling of hazardous chemicals.
- PPG certificate of training
- 2 years’ experience as a Process Technician.
- 2 years in a similar quality field
