About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at Union Electrical. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory by sourcing products at the best possible pricing, forecasting demand and ultimately improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profit margins through effective purchasing decisions and supplier negotiations
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of products
- Utilize data analysis to accurately forecast demand and adjust purchasing plans accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the electrical wholesale industry
- Technical knowledge of the full range of Electrical products available in the marketplace
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed purchasing decisions
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and forecasting tools
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
