Job Description
About the Role
As a Business Developer at Flink Recruitment, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities within the UK IT market. You will manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, outreach, discovery calls, pitching, negotiation, and closing. With the ability to consistently secure 1–2 new client wins per month, you will build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers. Your role will also involve developing tailored recruitment solutions aligned to client hiring needs, working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful placements and ongoing client satisfaction, maintaining accurate sales pipeline and activity reporting, and staying informed on UK IT market trends, hiring demands, and competitor activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the UK IT market

- Consistently secure 1–2 new client wins per month
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers
- Develop tailored recruitment solutions aligned to client hiring needs
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful placements and ongoing client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or a related field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of the UK IT market trends, hiring demands, and competitor activity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a reputable institution
