About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Groups Reservations Agent to join our 4* Hotel team in Cape Town. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for managing group bookings and ensuring seamless event coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Manage group bookings and ensure timely confirmation of bookings
- Coordinate events and weddings with attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
- Operate the hotel’s reservation system (Opera) efficiently and accurately
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience within a 4/5-star hotel environment
- Experience in hotel reservations, front office, event coordination essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable, and professional with a positive, friendly attitude and strong desire to provide excellent service
