Job Description

Manage and administer disciplinary processes, including investigations, suspensions, hearings, and sanctions Handle employee grievances and workplace disputes in line with company policies and labour legislation Advise management on labour relations matters and fair labour practices Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA) Draft and issue HR-related correspondence, including warnings, notices, and outcomes Represent or support the company in CCMA and internal dispute processes Assist with policy implementation, interpretation, and updates Maintain accurate employee relations records and case files Promote constructive employee relations and conflict resolution Over three years experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on Labour Relations and Employee Relations Proven hands-on experience managing disciplinary processes , including investigations, suspensions, hearings, and sanctions Skilled in handling employee grievances, misconduct cases, and workplace disputes in line with company policies and labour legislation Solid working knowledge of South African labour legislation , including the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), and Employment Equity Act (EEA) Experience advising and supporting management on fair labour practices, risk mitigation, and compliance Exposure to CCMA preparation, representation support, and dispute resolution processes Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills , with a balanced and fair approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills , including drafting HR correspondence and disciplinary documentation High level of professional judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced or unionised environments
