About the Role
Our client in the Milling & Animal Feed sector is seeking an experienced Farm Foreman to join their Mixed Farming operation. With a strong mechanical background and a passion for farm life, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks
- Lead cattle herd management and maize/pasture cultivation under irrigation
- Maintain general farm equipment and prevent fires
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in day-to-day operational management
- Cattle herd management expertise
- Mechanical aptitude for maintaining general farm equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with staff management
- Basic knowledge of fire management and prevention techniques
Qualifications
- Solid mechanical background
- Staff management experience
- Hands-on basic farm maintenance skills
Salary & Benefits
R20 000 – R30 000 (Depending on experience)
