About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Foreman to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing plant throughput, utilisation, and quality control, while ensuring compliance with safety, statutory, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full control of process and recovery activities during the shift
- Manage plant throughput, utilisation, and quality control
- Supervise teams, enforce discipline, and ensure effective shift handovers
- Interpret plant data and implement process adjustments
- Drive housekeeping, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent with 10 years experience in a processing or recovery plant (diamonds or similar minerals)
- 5 or more years in a senior supervisory / foreman / shift control role
- Proven experience managing plant throughput, recovery efficiency, and quality control
- Strong understanding of plant safety, housekeeping, and statutory compliance
Qualifications
- NQF Level 46 in: Mineral Processing Metallurgy Engineering Studies
- Supervisory or Management training (Shift Boss / Foreman / Leadership programmes)
- Exposure to metallurgical test work and process optimisation
- Previous remote site / rotational experience (Africa = huge plus)
