About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Storeman / Stores Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Lansdowne, Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone with strong computer skills, experience handling tools and consumables, and a solid understanding of stock control within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
- Restock shelves and ensure efficient storage of materials
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stores / storeman role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Good computer literacy (stock systems, Excel, basic admin)
- Practical knowledge of tools, spares, and consumables
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
Salary & Benefits
R14,000 per month plus benefits
