✨ BUTLER | LUXURY HOTEL ✨ Cape Town, Western Cape Luxury Hospitality Salary: Negotiable (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is searching for an exceptional Butler to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town. This role is designed for a polished hospitality professional who lives for detail, anticipates guest needs before they arise, and delivers unforgettable, personalised service at the highest level. This is not just service — this is luxury storytelling through experience. The Role The Butler will be responsible for delivering a seamless, highly personalised service to VIP and Club guests, ensuring every interaction reflects world-class luxury standards. From guest arrival to departure, the Butler creates moments that surprise, delight, and exceed expectations. ️ Key Responsibilities * Deliver a bespoke “WOW” guest experience at all times * Provide hands-on service across reception, concierge, in-room dining, lounge, reservations and guest relations * Anticipate and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally * Build meaningful guest relationships by remembering names, preferences and special requirements * Maintain accurate guest history and preferences on hotel systems * Support lounge operations including breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail service * Ensure immaculate presentation, mise-en-place and service flow * Assist with billing, cash handling and daily sales summaries * Control stock, minimise wastage and conduct regular inventory checks * Uphold hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards * Maintain exceptional grooming, conduct and service etiquette * Stay informed on hotel offerings, city attractions and events * Actively participate in training and continuous service improvement Requirements * 2–3 years’ experience in luxury hospitality or F&B service * Qualification from a recognised hotel management school (advantageous) * Butler Academy training (advantageous) * Strong knowledge of food & beverage service, wines, spirits and luxury dining etiquette * Confident, polished and service-driven personality * Computer literacy (hotel systems experience advantageous) * Fluent in English (additional languages are a strong advantage) Why This Role? * Work in a refined, high-end luxury environment * Be part of an elite guest experience team * Excellent opportunity for career growth within luxury hospitality * Competitive salary package based on experience Interested?
