Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Insights and Reporting Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates Lead execution of complex reports, identifying patterns and trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations Create and manage scalable reporting and dashboards to monitor marketing KPIs, highlight areas for improvement, and influence strategy Define key metrics for management reports with key stakeholders Develop a data, insights, and analytics roadmap to improve existing tools, processes, and journey towards full attribution Grow the volume of identifiable customers within digital channels and share data across channels for Omni-channel success Data and Analytics Strategy Recommend improvements to data and analytics systems and platforms Lead projects related to digital marketing, driving insights and channel performance analysis Communicate findings effectively at all levels, from teams to executives Stakeholder Engagement Identify stakeholders, understand their needs, and support communication of business information and decisions Collaborate with senior data analysts to establish reporting goals and data visualisation strategies Ensure high data quality and reliability of metrics Provide strategic advice on channel expansion, optimisation, and business growth Digital Marketing Strategy and Roadmap Contribute to digital marketing strategy by providing insights for initiative implementation Use a data-driven approach to inform strategy, collating insights from analytics and other data sources Continuously improve digital data strategy to support business KPIs and digital asset performance Data Exploration & Analysis Conduct research and select relevant information to analyse key themes and trends Provide insights and analytics to enable digital optimisation techniques Analyse landing page user journeys, UX, and AB testing to understand user intent and conversion paths Continuous Improvement Review existing operations and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas Solve challenging business problems creatively and efficiently Use insights to drive innovative capabilities scalable across the business Support MarTech onboarding and implement solid processes Personal and Organisational Capability Building Develop own capabilities through formal and informal training and coaching Maintain knowledge of technology, regulations, and industry best practices Identify team development needs, plan and implement actions to build capabilities Provide training or coaching in area of expertise to improve performance Leadership and Performance Management Communicate local action plans and align team objectives with organisational strategy Develop and propose performance objectives; provide guidance and training Attention to Detail: Maintain high accuracy and guide others EDUCATION Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential) Degree in relevant field (Essential) Postgraduate degree in relevant field (Advantageous) EXPERIENCE 5 years proven experience in business data analysis, insights, and marketing analytics (Essential) Experience leading impactful data-related or analytics projects and communicating findings visually (Essential) Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, finance, analytics, and engineering (Essential) Experience using and analysing large datasets (Essential) Experience using data to develop digital performance marketing strategies (Advantageous) Experience working in more than one business functional area (Advantageous) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SAQA Accredited Equivalent applicants must provide certified evidence of qualifications meeting NQF levels Role requires maintaining compliance with industry regulations and fitness to operate in a financial services environment
