About the Role
PST.AG is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our business operations, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of our global trade compliance specialists, developers, legal researchers, and data teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research to understand business objectives and pain points.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FRS), and Use Cases.
- Translate complex business needs into technical requirements, wireframes, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Design JSON/XML schemas to unify multi-country customs data (e.g., EU Zolltarife) into a single API structure.
- Collaborate with developers on data pipelines and API specifications.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in regulated industries (trade, logistics, finance)
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including XML, CSV, and government publications.
- Strong BRD/FRS documentation skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics’ or any related discipline.
