About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is a leading beverage manufacturing company with multiple production facilities in Gauteng. They are known for their high-quality products and commitment to sustainability. As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics Team Leader to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of logistics coordinators.
- Set clear performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Analyze current internal logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the flow of materials and products.
- Oversee the inventory control processes, including stock accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory management.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth material flow and on-time deliveries.
- Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing a team of logistics coordinators.
- Strong knowledge of internal logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable.
