About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Farm Manager SA. With at least 3 years of experience in forestry, you will be responsible for leading our production teams and ensuring the efficient use of resources. You will work closely with our farmers to implement modern production practices and improve yields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production teams and lead by example
  • Implement modern production practices and techniques
  • Monitor and optimize irrigation systems
  • Motivate team members to achieve targets
  • Communicate effectively with farmers and stakeholders
  • Use MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

  • Post-matric tertiary qualification in agriculture
  • At least 3 years’ experience in forestry
  • Knowledge of modern production practices
  • Specific knowledge/experience in irrigation practices will be to your advantage
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate team members
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

  • Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture
