About the Role
Riseup Management is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new ERP business opportunities, focusing on Syspro ERP and related solutions. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build long-term relationships and consultative sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new ERP business opportunities, focusing on Syspro ERP and related solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with decision-makers at the C-suite and senior management levels.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Drive marketing campaigns, events, and digital initiatives to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with internal consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Stay up to date with ERP trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
- Proven track record (3+ years) in ERP, software, or IT solutions sales.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (Syspro knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and consultative sales approaches.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or IT is advantageous.
