About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the Agricultural industry is urgently seeking a Financial Controller to join their team in Howick, KZN. We are looking for an experienced professional who can assess risk within our financial portfolio, make credit decisions, and generate monthly reports concerning debtors’ books.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing risk within a specific portion of the financial portfolio.
- Making credit decisions and being accountable for those decisions within a defined mandate.
- Generating monthly reports concerning the debtors book.
- Conducting credit follow-ups for both monthly and seasonal accounts.
- Preparing credit applications.
- Handling internal and external queries.
- Processing applications for credit facilities.
- Establishing securities.
- Reconciling debtors’ accounts.
- Managing office and regional administration.
- Performing various ad hoc tasks related to the aforementioned duties.
Requirements
- Hold a National Diploma, or higher.
- Be a member of the Institute for Credit Control.
- Possess at least two years of related experience.
