About the Role
A well-established organization in Gauteng is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full Trial Balance process for cross-border entities.
- Accurately and promptly process customer and supplier invoices.
- Record bank transactions and manage petty cash reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payment batches in multiple currencies.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register to ensure accurate records.
- Reconcile intercompany loan accounts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate closely with the senior finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting processes.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar ERP systems).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Matric (Garde 12)
- BCom Accounting, BCom Finance, or a related degree; accounting-related qualifications will be advantageous.
- Completed SAICA Articles (Must have)
