Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Electrician to join their team in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems and components, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in vehicles of all makes and models.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles, including wiring, lights, batteries, and electronic systems
- Install and maintain electrical components, such as alarms, GPS systems, and entertainment systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Test and troubleshoot electrical components to identify and resolve problems
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or N2 Technical Equivalent qualification.
- Qualified Auto Electrician on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.
- Extensive experience of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Bell, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, and various ancillary equipment would be an advantage.
- At least 10 years post trade test experience an advantage.
- Must be medically fit.
