Job Description

PURCHASING & LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR – Rosslyn, Pretoria Automotive Component Manufacturing Company has the above vacancy available in Rosslyn Qualifications & Experience • Monthly, Weekly & daily material procurement as required within lead time. • Monthly procurement of Trading Imported goods against orders & maintain defined stock levels. • Inventory management as per defined levels for all the warehouse stock (e.g. FG Local, FG Imports, RM & Consumables etc.) • New Supplier Development as per companies’ quality standards. • Stock control with cycle counts in FG warehouse to ensure No Stock difference. • Material Issue control as per written requisition and safe record keeping of the same. • All OEM / Tier-1 customer delivery schedule adherence with no delay or failure. • Managing company transport vehicle with cost effective measures and ensure 100% compliance Duties • Monthly or Weekly material procurement and planning reports (Local & Imports). • Monthly material Scheduling & PO issue to suppliers approved by CFC. • Warehouse stock management with good 5S and ensure safety compliance. • Inventory measure to put in place to ensure FIFO and storages with clearly identification as required by IATF quality standards. • New supplier development and development of existing supplier as per company quality standards. • Alternate sourcing as and when required to support regular cost reduction activities. • No Premium freight with regards to delay in deliveries. • Maintain Minimum & Maximum stock levels as prescribed in ERP system. • Monthly FG store stock analysis for slow or non-moving stock and action plan. • Adherence and monitoring delivery schedule of OE customers to ensure no defaults. • Monthly MIS reports on or before 5th of each month with regards to company vehicle performance, inventory controls and delivery performance of logistics department. • No stock out situation in the plant to cause production stoppages or delays. • Item master opening in ERP system duly approved by CFC. • Filling & safe keeping of all the records with regards to material issue users. • Effectively manage and comply with departmental QA system (IATF / ISO) standards. • Any other reasonable instructions given by the management time to time. PERFORMANCE INDICATOR: • No material delays or downtime in production considering lead-time. • Stock availability of RM, Local & Imports as per defined levels and customer specific orders. • Stock controls in the warehouse and warehouse management.
