About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our luxury safari lodge in Zambia. As a creative and highly organised culinary professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our high-end guests. This role is ideal for those who thrive in remote, high-end environments and are committed to maintaining consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute high-quality menus in line with lodge standards and guest expectations
- Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and stock control
- Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain consistently high standards
- Manage food costing, stock ordering, and waste control to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a luxury lodge, safari lodge, or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven experience in menu planning, cost control, and stock management
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote lodge environment

- Formal culinary qualification
