About the Role

Wild Dreams Hospitality, a leading organization in endangered species conservation and monitoring, seeks a dedicated Species Monitor to join our team in Zululand. This role offers an opportunity for a passionate conservationist to contribute directly to the protection of Africa’s wildlife.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field monitoring of priority species, including wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, and rhinos.
• Utilize radio-telemetry and camera trapping equipment as required.
• Host and provide guided experiences for volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records and data management skills.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve conservation goals.

Requirements

• South African citizen.
• N.Dip. Nat.Con. / BSc. Conservation Ecology or similar qualification preferred.
• FGASA qualified with field experience, preferably in a Big 5 environment.
• Valid driver’s license and PrDP license.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Excellent English communication skills.
