Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for a strategic and commercially-minded senior marketing leader to join a global FMCG organisation known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer excellence.
This role will lead the category, shopper, and customer marketing strategy, aligning cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, optimize trade investment, and enhance in-store execution across key channels. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong analytical skills, deep FMCG experience, and a passion for customer insight-led decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the integrated Category, Customer, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategy.

Align cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) around key commercial priorities.

Translate brand and business strategies into trade and shopper-focused execution plans.
Customer & Category Development
-
Lead strategic category growth plans using shopper, market, and consumer insights.
-
Partner with key retailers to shape assortment, shelving, and merchandising strategies.

Drive internal growth dialogues and support joint business planning processes.
Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
-
Oversee pricing architecture, promotional effectiveness, pack/price mix, and customer profitability.

Lead post-evaluation and ROI tracking of trade activities.

Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance in collaboration with Finance and Sales.
Team & Budget Leadership

Lead a high-performing team across category, shopper, and trade marketing functions.

Manage the customer marketing and trade investment budget with a focus on effectiveness and ROI.

Build a performance-driven, data-led, and collaborative team culture.
Insights & Innovation

Champion the use of analytics and insights to unlock new growth opportunities.

Monitor channel trends and competitive activity to shape future trade initiatives.
Requirements

Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.

Extensive experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Revenue Growth Management.

Strong analytical ability and familiarity with tools such as Nielsen, Circana, or Power BI.

Proven track record of delivering growth through cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.

High resilience, change agility, and the ability to lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, and conflict management skills.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field.

68+ years of senior-level experience in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors.
