Job Description

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and control daily plant operations to achieve production targets and KPIs Monitor plant start-ups, shutdowns, and process stability Supervise and allocate tasks to operators and support personnel Manage shift handovers, reporting, and operational communication Enforce HSE standards and conduct workplace inspections and safety talks Coordinate equipment checks and liaise with maintenance to minimise downtime Ensure availability of operational resources and consumables Act as the link between operations, maintenance, metallurgy, and management Minimum Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or coordination role within a mineral processing or mining plant Strong understanding of process plant operations (DMS experience highly advantageous) Solid leadership and people-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational, reporting, and time-management abilities Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Technical & Personal Competencies Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to perform under pressure in a production-driven environment Working knowledge of plant systems, production reporting, and basic ERP systems High safety awareness and compliance mindset Adaptability to remote, multicultural, and expat environments
