Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including all tasks, milestones, and dependencies
- Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control
- Coordinate and manage all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues or delays and implementing corrective actions
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
- Manage and lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project
Requirements:
- Construction experience in large corporations with minimum 15 years experience.
- Mechanical, Piping, structural steel experience. Installation of heat exchangers and pressurised equipment
- Registered with PMI (Project management institute & PPM (professional project manager)
- SACPMP Registered
- Computer literacy
- Must be able to use MS Projects or Primavera be able to put together Microsoft Project programme
- Liase with client
- Manager supervision
- Put together method statements
- Have experience in planning
- Fluent in English
- Manage different disciplines and supervision
