Job Description

Key Responsibilities Operate an assigned section of the DMS plant safely and within control limits Monitor plant equipment, conveyors, water levels, and process indicators Take corrective action to maintain optimal plant performance Work with maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operation Conduct pre-shift checks, inspections, and basic plant maintenance tasks Perform unblocking of chutes/pipelines and replace screen panels when required Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and operating procedures Minimum Requirements Qualifications & Experience Proven experience operating DMS or mineral processing plants (Diamond experience highly advantageous). Strong understanding of process control, plant monitoring, and operational procedures. Experience working on remote or expatriate mining sites preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong safety awareness and discipline. Ability to work independently and take ownership of a plant section. Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Clear communication and accurate reporting skills. Complete shift logs, reports, and handovers Maintain good housekeeping standards Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor
