About the Role
We are seeking a highly flexible and enthusiastic Field Guide / Host to join our unique Cape Farmhouse Hotel in the Riebeek Valley area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welcoming and hosting guests at the farmhouse and hotel, assisting with check-in and check-out processes, providing local insights, and guiding them through farm walks, nature activities, and scenic experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and host guests at the farmhouse and hotel
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide local insights and guide guests through farm walks, nature activities, and scenic experiences
- Participate in working farm tasks during quieter months (e.g., animal care, maintenance)
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, guiding, or guest services is an advantage
- FGASA Level 1 or similar Guiding course
- Drivers licence
- PD English and Afrikaans
Qualifications
No formal education required.
Salary & Benefits
R12K overtime and public holidays paid. Live-in staff house provided for guides.
