About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Anchor & Maintenance Manager Couple for a luxury game lodge situated in the renowned Sabi Sands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a couple who thrive in a remote bush environment and are passionate about hospitality and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support daily lodge operations
  • Assist with guest relations, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Support the General Manager and act as second-in-command when required
  • Maintain high standards across housekeeping, front of house, and F&B departments
  • Host guests during meals and other lodge activities
  • Provide administrative assistance, including stock control and orders
  • Manage all maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Oversee lodge infrastructure including plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and generators
  • Coordinate with external service providers when required
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across the property
  • Maintain tools, workshop, and all technical equipment

  • Previous experience in a similar couples role in a high-end lodge environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and guest relations abilities
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as plumbing, electrics, mechanics, and general maintenance
