Job Description
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar) because love should be continuous
Manage containerized applications using Docker, keeping things consistent across Nix and Windows environments
Deploy applications on AWS, Heroku, and Kubernetes
Set up monitoring and alerting with tools like Grafana, CloudWatch or Prometheus
Implement best practices including firewalls, intrusion detection, and system hardening
Monitor performance and collaborate with developers to improve scalability and efficiency
Assist with RDS Postgres management and explore NoSQL options like MongoDB
Keep cloud costs under control without breaking hearts
Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of networking, security and cloud infrastructure
Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS)
Experience with AWS Services (ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront or Lambda)
Experience with scripting (Ruby, Python, Bash or similar)
Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems
Relevant AWS certifications
