Job Description

Main purpose of the job: Receive and store stock, Pick and Prepare loads for distribution to clients. Preferred Requirements: Matric Certificate in Store and Stock Control Induction training Knowledge Specific product and workflow procedures knowledge, full understanding of the work procedure for the warehouse Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Principles and Practices Knowledge of stock control principles and practices, picking procedures, FIFO principles and practices. Knowledge of quality specification of finished product. Knowledge of Health and Safety Principles and Practices Internal Tasks and Procedures – Receiving Principles, practices, and internal procedures. Product and quality specifications knowledge Stock storing and handling procedures. Demarcated areas – Return stock procedures. Picking and loading procedures. Product and packaging quality specifications of products. Product knowledge, packaging configuration. Health and Safety principles, practices, and internal procedures. MDWT Principles, practices, and internal guidelines Skills Ability to interpret delivery note slip correctly Mathematical Good communication skills
