About the Role
Smartstuff Solutions is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic IT teacher for FET Phase, with experience in the IEB curriculum, to join their online educational institution. As an integral part of their team, you will be responsible for guiding students through engaging learning opportunities, delivering the required curriculum, and fostering a positive online classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Information Technology lessons to students in an online format.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning.
- Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in IT education and online teaching methodologies.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- BEd Degree or undergrad with PGCE
- SACE registration is essential
Qualifications
- Experience with the IEB curriculum is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years full time teaching experience required
