About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SHEQ Officer to oversee and maintain Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards within our dynamic operational environment. The ideal candidate will have strong auditing experience, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for driving compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and supplier audits
- Maintain SHEQ compliance across the business
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Manage SHEQ documentation, reports, and records
- Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Conduct workplace inspections and compliance checks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a strong safety and quality culture
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quality, Health & Safety ISO 9001:2015
- Internal and supplier audit experience
- Formal qualification in Health & Safety / ISO
- Computer literate (SAP advantageous)
- Matric (Grade 12)
