About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Software Developer Intern to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software applications using C++, C#, and python.
- Integrate APIs into software applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize software applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the backend and front-end team to design and implement RESTful APIs for data exchange.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure high-quality performance.
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
- Perform system testing and validation procedures.
Requirements
- A qualification in Software Development
- Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL or NoSQL
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into software applications
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
