About the Role
Gijima Holdings is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with business stakeholders across departments to understand existing operational workflows and pain points.
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, interviews, and workshops to accurately capture end-to-end process information.
- Develop comprehensive process maps, flowcharts, and swimlane diagrams using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools.
- Document As-Is business processes with clear inputs, outputs, decision points, and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare detailed business process documentation and reports for review and validation with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams, business owners, and IT to ensure alignment of business processes with organizational goals.
- Translate complex technical or operational processes into clear, business-friendly language.
- Maintain version control and ensure traceability of documentation updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with proven process documentation experience.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Visio or similar tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Bizagi).
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences environments (advantageous).
