South Africa: UI/UX Designer – Perm – Hybrid (Melrose Arch) – R780k per annum posted by E-Merge

Our prestige client is seeking on the lookout for talented UX/UI Designers to help refine and enhance their existing design system and brand guidelines. Working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you’ll design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our B2B SaaS platform that align with our business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, design requirements, and project timelines.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback and analyse user engagement metrics to inform design decisions.
• Create and maintain design systems that promote consistency and efficiency across the platform.
• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all products and platforms.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs are properly implemented and maintain design quality throughout development

Key Requirements

• You have 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and experience with relevant design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• You have a comprehensive knowledge of design systems and how to create and maintain them. You possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and are able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills and Experience they would love to see

• Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise software design
• Understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design
• Experience with user interface design for data visualization and analytics
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
